Daikin TikTok Contest Terms & Conditions. 

1. Contest Overview 

The Daikin TikTok Contest is organized by Daikin Malaysia Sales & Service. By participating, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. 

2. Eligibility

  • Open to all residents of Malaysia, aged 18 and above. 
  • Participants must have a public TikTok account. 

3. Contest Period

  • The Contest runs from 11 May 2026 to 07 June 2026. 
  • Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered. 

4. How to Enter

To participate in the contest, you must: 

  • Create a TikTok video using our AIR CREATOR filter  
  • Include at least two (2) of the following hashtags in your video caption: #AIRCREATOR  #DaikinMoodOnMY 
  • Tag @daikin_malaysia in your post. 
  • Set your TikTok video to Public to ensure it is viewable for judging. 

5. Entry Guidelines

  • Video must be original and created by the participant. 
  • Maximum video duration: 2 minute. 
  • Do not feature or mention other brands. 
  • Daikin reserves the right to disqualify any inappropriate, offensive, or plagiarized content. 

6. Judging Criteria

Winners will be selected based on: 

  • Creativity and originality 
  • Relevance to the theme 
  • Engagement (likes/comments/shares) 
  • Featuring Daikin product 
  • Daikin brand alignment 

7. Prizes

  • 🎁 Grand Prize: 1 (ONE) x  Daikin AIR CREATOR AD (BLACK)
  • 🏅 Runner-up(s): 3 (THREE) x RM50 Touch n Go eWallet Credit 
  • *Prizes are non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash. 

8. Winner Announcement

  • Winners will be announced via Daikin’s official TikTok or Instagram page on 11th June 2026, 12pm. 
  • Winners will be contacted via DM and must respond within 5 working days to claim the prize. 

9. Rights & Usage

  • By entering, you grant Daikin the right to use, repost, and publish your video content across Daikin’s platforms (social media, website, advertising, etc.) with proper credit. 
  • Participants retain ownership of their content. 

10. General Conditions

  • Daikin reserves the right to amend or cancel the contest without prior notice. 
  • Decisions by the judging panel are final. 
  • Participation implies acceptance of all Terms & Conditions.

Personal information Provided by Participants

  1. Daikin Malaysia shall use and take care of any personal information Participants supply to it as described in its privacy policy and in accordance with data protection legislation. By participating in the Campaign, Participants are agreeable to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of the personal information to process and contact the Participants about the Campaign entry, and for the purposes set out herein.
  2. The information may be utilized in the following manners:
    1. Details which consist of personal data provided by Participants may be used by Daikin Malaysia for the following purposes: –
      1. The processing of the Campaign Participants;
      2. The operations and process in the Campaign;
      3. Updating our records about the Participants;
      4. Market research and statistical analysis and surveys with the aim of improving Daikin Malaysia products and services;
      5. For advertising and promotion purposes; and
      6. For any purposes required by law or regulation.
    2. Daikin Malaysia may collect, use, disclose and share amongst themselves, Daikin Malaysia’s agents and respective service providers, the Participants’ personal data, including the photographs or audio-video or other recordings of these Participants (“Material”) for publicity and/or use in advertisements across all media, including, without limitation, in Daikin Malaysia’s publications, presentations, promotional materials on their websites, in its original or edited format, and whether to promote the campaign or otherwise without further notification, remuneration or compensation.
    3. Other than those individuals and entities mentioned above, or as informed from time to time, your personal data will not be revealed by Daikin Malaysia to any other outsiders, unless Daikin Malaysia has required your permission to do so.
