Selangor FC & Daikin Malaysia Announce Joint Strategic Collaboration
Selangor Football Club, Selangor FC today announced Daikin Malaysia as its newest official platinum partner after the signing ceremony agreement between the two parties, early this morning.
The signing ceremony was held at the Daikin Solution Plaza and was witnessed by the Chairman of Selangor FC, His Royal Highness Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, Chief Operating Officer of Daikin Malaysia Sdn Bhd Mr. Shogo Ando and also, Mr.Katsuhiko Takahashi, the Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia. It was also attended by the Chief Operating Officer of Selangor FC, Aladdin Mostafa and Mr. Lawrence Song, Managing Director of Daikin Malaysia Sales & Service Sdn Bhd.
The agreement will see Daikin Malaysia partnering with Selangor FC team to compete in the Malaysian League with the 2023 season which will be starting soon.
Chief Operating Officer of Daikin Malaysia, Mr. Shogo Ando said, “We at Daikin Malaysia are very proud to be part of the Red Giants family. We believe that football is a sport that is able to unite nations as one, regardless of language, religion, race or age. We are confident that this collaboration is able to promote healthy and active lifestyles for all by linking sport. We also hope that this relationship can inject more energy to the Red Giants family ahead of the new season,” he added.
Chief Operating Officer of SFC, Aladdin Mostafa thinks this collaboration will have a positive impact on both parties.
“We at Selangor FC are very excited and proud about this announcement. Since the privatization of Selangor FC, we have always welcomed the opportunity to work with international organisations such as Daikin. This is evidence that our team is able to attract the interest of international companies to collaborate in achieving their vision and goals. As Selangor FC’s latest strategic partner, we will do our best to deliver the trust given and we will continue to share expertise with each other towards achieving the objectives of this collaboration,” said Aladdin.
Also expressing his happiness, the Chairman of Selangor FC, His Highness Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj had time to share his feelings immediately after the signing ceremony.
“I would like to express our gratitude to Daikin for the collaboration and at the same time, would like to also welcome them to the Red Giants’ family. We hope that this collaboration will attract more local and international companies to become strategic partners of Selangor FC in the near future,” he said.
