1. How to redeem RM50 TNG e-Wallet credit?

Participants are required to purchase a new Daikin Wireless Air Conditioner (Wall-Mounted or SkyAir Series) after trading in their old air conditioner. Next, participants are required to register the warranty for their newly purchase air conditioner in complete sets (indoor and outdoor unit) with fully complete the correct and valid personal information in the personal details fields required in the campaign website including Mobile Phone Number that is registered on TNG application at campaign microsite: https://refrigerantrecovery.daikin.com.my 

2. When can I receive RM50 TNG e-Wallet credit?

The redemption will be processed and reviewed by Daikin Malaysia and the reward, RM50 TNG e-Wallet credit will be sent to Customer within 30 working days, excluded weekends and public holidays once approved.

3. Can I redeem RM50 TNG e-Wallet credit for more than one (1) unit?

Yes, you may redeem more than 1 unit and RM50 TNG e-Wallet credit will be given to each subsequent unit which the registration is approved by Daikin Malaysia. The redemption is limited to 1,000 units only. The registration link will be closed after the number is reached.

4. What models are entitled for Refrigerant Recovery Trade-in Program?

It is applicable to all wireless models of Wall Mounted (SMARTO, FTKF, FTKU, FTKP, FTV, etc) and Ceiling Cassette (FCC, FCFV, etc) that distributed by Daikin Malaysia. Check the full eligible model list here.

5. Is this campaign available to all customers across Malaysia?

No, this campaign is ONLY available for customers from Klang Valley (Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya).

6. Are all old air conditioner brands eligible for trade-in before I proceed with purchasing a new Daikin air conditioner to participate in this campaign?

Yes, all brands of old air conditioners are eligible for this campaign, but limited to single split units only.

7. I redeemed but it showed rejected. Why?

There are several reason of rejection, such as: Entry registered is Daikin Installer/Dealer’s mobile number or address, the trade-in set has no minimum gas requirement of 50 psi and the trade-in units are not registered and not sent to Daikin Customer Care Centre.

Terms and Conditions for Refrigerant Recovery Program 

The following terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) shall apply to Daikin Malaysia Sales & Service Sdn Bhd (the “Daikin Malaysia”) Refrigerant Recovery Trade-in Program.

Eligibility

  1. The campaign is opened to the following:
    • all customers (end-users) aged 18 and above; and
    • Malaysian citizens and foreign citizens who are residing at Klang Valley area only in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya).
  2. Employees of Daikin Malaysia, related companies and affiliates and/or the immediate families of such employees, dealers of Daikin Malaysia, sub-contractors or companies or any other party directly related to this Campaign are not eligible to participate in the Campaign.
  3. Daikin Malaysia has the sole discretion to exclude any persons from participating in the Campaign without any obligation to furnish any notice and/or reason.

Campaign Period

  1. The Campaign is open for ONLY 1,000 units of trade-in redemptions from 1st December 2024 to 31st March 2025 or based on first come first serve basis, both dates inclusive (the “Campaign Period”). Redemption deadline is on 3rd April 2025, 11.59pm.

Entry Condition

  1. Participants are required to purchase any new Daikin Wireless Air Conditioner (Wall Mounted / SkyAir Series) and trade in their old air conditioner as part of the program. All brands of old air conditioners (single split) are eligible for this campaign.
  2. Participants shall register the warranty for their newly purchase air conditioner in complete sets including the indoor and outdoor unit with uploading a photo/scan copy of the corresponding Proof of Purchase (Receipt/Invoice) at campaign website:

  3. Participants are required to fully complete the correct and valid personal information in the personal details fields required in the campaign website including Mobile Phone Number that is registered on TNG application within the Campaign Period. Any error in submission of details by Participants will STRICTLY NOT BE ENTERTAINED.
  4. Participants must ensure that Daikin’s authorized dealers or authorized subcontractors complete the campaign entry by registering the warranty and filling out the trade-in details for both the indoor and outdoor units on the dealer EPIC page.
  5. Daikin’s authorized dealers or authorized subcontractors are responsible for performing the pump-down process on the trade-in unit before delivering it to the Daikin Customer Care Centre.
  6. The redemption will be processed and reviewed by Daikin Malaysia and the RM50 TNG e-Wallet credit will be sent to Participants’ TNG e-Wallet account within 30 working days, excluded weekends and public holidays once approved.
  7. Daikin Malaysia reserves the right to reject any registration of participants/dealer/sub-contractor without any prior notice in the event of the following:
    • Entry registration form is incomplete.
    • Entry registered is Daikin Installer/Dealer’s mobile number or address.
    • If Daikin Malaysia believes the registration is fraud or any irregular transaction or being manipulated in any whatsoever manner.
    • The trade-in set has no minimum gas requirement of 50 psi.
    • If the trade-in units are not registered and not sent to Daikin Customer Care Centre.
    • If the registered entry is found to be outside the Klang Valley area.
  8. Daikin Malaysia accepts no responsibility for any tax or other liability that may arise from the reward given.

Personal information Provided by Participants

  1. Daikin Malaysia shall use and take care of any personal information Participants supply to it as described in its privacy policy and in accordance with data protection legislation. By participating in the Campaign, Participants are agreeable to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of the personal information in order to process and contact the Participants about the Campaign entry, and for the purposes set out herein.
  2. The information may be utilized in the following manners:
    1. Details which consist of personal data provided by Participants may be used by Daikin Malaysia for the following purposes: –
      1. The processing of your Campaign Participants;
      2. The operations and process in this Campaign;
      3. Updating our records about the Participants;
      4. Market research and statistical analysis and surveys with the aim of improving Daikin Malaysia products and services;
      5. For advertising and promotion purposes; and
      6. For any purposes required by law or regulation.
    2. Daikin Malaysia may collect, use, disclose and share amongst themselves, Daikin Malaysia’s agents and respective service providers, the Participants’ personal data, including the photographs or audio-video or other recordings of these Participants (“Material”) for publicity and/or use in advertisements across all media, including, without limitation, in Daikin Malaysia’s publications, presentations, promotional materials on their websites, in its original or edited format, and whether to promote the Campaign or otherwise without further notification, remuneration or compensation.
    3. Other than those individuals and entities mentioned above, or as informed from time to time, your personal data will not be revealed by Daikin Malaysia to any other outsiders, unless Daikin Malaysia has required your permission to do so.

General Terms and Conditions

  1. By participating in the campaign, the Participant is deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions set out herein and any other instructions, terms and conditions that Daikin Malaysia may issue from time to time.
  2. Daikin Malaysia shall not be liable to any persons in the Campaign for any injuries, losses and/or damages in respect of, in connection with and/or arising from the Campaign.
  3. Daikin Malaysia reserves the right to video, photograph, record and/or publish any Participants’ images and details for the purpose relating to the publicity of the Campaign without having to pay any fee or compensation to the Participants.
  4. Daikin Malaysia reserves the right to vary and/or alter the term and conditions of the Campaign at any time without prior notification.
  5. Daikin Malaysia’s decision of the Campaign is final and no appeals or correspondence will be entertained. The Participants shall accept and abide by any and all decisions made by Daikin Malaysia.
  6. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or other promotional materials or communications relating to the Campaign, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
