Terms and Conditions for the Campaign

The following terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) shall apply to Daikin Malaysia 2022 Raya Song Duet Challenge Campaign (the “Campaign”). The campaign comprises of Song Duet Challenge known as “”Kita Rai, Kita Raya” Song Duet Challenge” (the “Challenge”) that is to be hold on TikTok and Instagram.


  1. The Campaign is open to the following:
    a) All customers (end-users) aged above 18; and
    b) Malaysian citizens and foreign citizens who are residing in Malaysia.
  2. Employees of Daikin Malaysia, related companies and affiliates and/or the immediate families of such employees, dealers of Daikin Malaysia, sub-contractors or companies or any other party directly related to this Campaign are not eligible to participate in the challenge.
  3. Daikin Malaysia has the sole discretion to exclude any persons from participating in the Campaign without any obligation to furnish any notice and/or reason.

Campaign Period

  1. The Campaign is open from 1 May 2022 to 31 May 2022, both dates inclusive (the “Campaign Period”).

Participation in the Campaign

  1. Open the TikTok/ Instagram App and search for “#KitaRaiKitaRaya”/”#DaikinSongDuetChallenge”/”#MyDaikin” or go to Daikin’s account to look for Daikin Raya song duet challenge video.
  2. Select Daikin Raya Duet video.
  3. Click on “Share to” and select “Duet” (TikTok) or click on”Settings(…)” and select “Remix This Reel” or choose “Try Remix” (Instagram).
  4. Start recording your duet video creatively.
  5. Publish your duet/remix video and tag Daikin Malaysia’s Instagram/TikTok official account and hashtag #MyDaikin, #KitaRaiKitaRaya,#DaikinSongDuetChallenge, then, set post to public.
  6. Share your duet video on TikTok or Instagram and set to public.
  7. Tag 3 friends and must like and follow Daikin Facebook, Instagram & TikTok official account.
  8. Winners will be announced within 3 weeks after contest end.


  1. There will be a total of ONLY forty-four (44) PRIZES to be won at the end of this campaign. Each winner will be entitled to win one of the following prizes :
    a) 1 x MCK55 Air Purifier (worth RM1,890) + Duet again with Alieff and the duet song video will be posted on Alieff’s Instagrm & TikTok
    b) 1 x MC55 Air Purifier (worth RM1,290)
    c) 1 x MC40 Air Purifier (worth RM1,070)
    d) 21 x AKEMI Hotel Collection Pillow (worth RM319)
    e) 20 X ROCKYWEST Bagpack (worth RM259)

Prize Collection

  1. Each winner is only entitled to win one (1) prize regardless of the number of times the duet videos are posted.
  2. The winners will be selected by Daikin Malaysia based on the creativity of the duet video they posted.
  3. Winner announcement will be made through the Daikin official Facebook page, Instagram and TikTok account and winners will also be notified via personal message on Facebook/Intagram/ Tiktok.
  4. The winners must produce the necessary information as required by Daikin Malaysia e.g. Name, Phone Number, NRIC or works permit pass, home address and email address that will be required for the delivery of the prizes.
  5. All prizes except the Daikin MCK55, MC55 and MC40 Air Purifier will be delivered to each respective winner via postage services.
  6. Winners of the Daikin MCK55, MC55 and MC40 Air Purifier must be collected at Daikin Malaysia Sales & Service Sdn Bhd Headquarters or branches (depending on location) during standard operating hours. If the prizes are unclaimed after one (1) month of the winner announcement, such prize(s) shall be forfeited and no compensation will be given in such cirumtances.
  7. The winners must produce the necessary proof of identity as required by Daikin Malaysia e.g. NRIC or works permit pass, original purchase receipt corresponding with the Campaign entry.
  8. The winners will be notified by Daikin Malaysia via personal message through Facebook/Intagram/TikTok. If winners cannot be contacted, Diakin Malaysia reserves the right to re-select one or, more winners as a replacement.
  9. The Campaign prizes are non-transferrable, non-exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash, other prizes or any other products from Daikin Malaysia. Daikin Malaysia has the right to substitute any prize for a prize of equivalent value without prior notice or reason.
  10. Daikin Malaysia accepts no responsibility for any tax or other liability that may arise from the prize winnings.

Personal information Provided by Participants

  1. Daikin Malaysia shall use and take care of any personal information Participants supply to it as described in its privacy policy and in accordance with data protection legislation. By participating in the Campaign, Participants are agreeable to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of the personal information in order to process and contact the Participants about the Campaign entry, and for the purposes set out herein.
  2. The information may be utilized in the following manners:
    a) Details which consist of personal data provided by Participants may be used by Daikin Malaysia for the following purposes:-
    i) The processing of your Campaign Participants;
    ii) The operations and process in this campaign;
    iii) Updating our records about the Participants;
    iv) Market research and statistical analysis and surveys with the aim of improving Daikin Malaysia products and services;
    v) For advertising and promotion purposes; and
    vi) For any purposes required by law or regulation.
    b) Daikin Malaysia may collect, use, disclose and share amongst themselves, Daikin Malaysia’s agents and respective service providers, the Participants’ personal data, including the photographs or audio-video or other recordings of these Participants (“Material”) for publicity and/or use in advertisements across all media, including, without limitation, in Daikin Malaysia’s publications, presentations, promotional materials on their websites, in its original or edited format, and whether to promote the Contest / Lucky Draw or otherwise without further notification, remuneration or compensation.
    c) Other than those individuals and entities mentioned above, or as informed from time to time, your personal data will not be revealed by Daikin Malaysia to any other outsiders, unless Daikin Malaysia has required your permission to do so.
    d) By participating this campaign, you agree and accept to Daikin Malaysia Sales & Service Sdn. Bhd. (“DMSS”) privacy policy and consent to collect, obtain, store, use, process and disclose your personal data in accordance with the purposes as stated in the privacy policy. General Terms and Conditions:

26) By participating in the Campaign, the Participant is deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions set out herein and any other instructions, terms and conditions that Daikin Malaysia may issue from time to time. 27) Daikin Malaysia shall not be liable to any persons in the Campaign for any injuries, losses and/or damages in respect of, in connection with and/or arising from the Campaign.

28) Daikin Malaysia reserves the right to video, photograph, record and/or publish any Participants’ images and details for the purpose relating to the publicity of the Campaign without having to pay any fee or compensation to the Participants.

29) Daikin Malaysia reserves the right to vary and/or alter the term and conditions of the Campaign at any time without prior notification.

30) Daikin Malaysia reserve the rights to remove, suspend or ban any participant in sole discretion and without prior notice in any case whereby it is found that participants fail to comply with thsese terms; suspect of fraud or suspicious/manipulative activity by a participant.

31) Daikin Malaysia’s decision of the Campaign is final and no appeals or correspondence will be entertained. The Participants shall accept and abide by any and all decisions made by Daikin Malaysia.

32) In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or other promotional materials or communications relating to the Campaign, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
