This page helps you to do simple self-diagnosis by malfunction code.
By entering the error code, you are able to identify the status of the air conditioner and the cause of its malfunction.
To search for the error code, kindly follow the instruction below:
Instruction 1 : Please choose your Air Conditioner type
The temperature display sections indicate corresponding codes.
STEP 1
When the ON TIMER CANCEL button or OFF TIMER CANCEL button is held down for 5 seconds, a “00” indication flashes on the temperature display section.
STEP 2
Press the ON TIMER CANCEL button or OFF TIMER CANCEL button repeatedly until a continuous beep is produced.
*The code indication will change and will notify with a long beep.
*A short beep and two consecutive beeps indicate non-corresponding codes.
STEP 3

E1 | Room air sensor contact loose/ short |
E2 | Indoor coil sensor open |
E4 | Compressor overload/ Indoor coil sensor short/ Outdoor coil sensor short |
E5 | Outdoor abnormal |
E8 | Hardware error (tact switch pin short) |
E9 | No feedback from indoor fan |
STEP 4
To cancel the code display, hold on the ON TIMER CANCEL button or OFF TIMER CANCEL button down for 5 seconds. The code display also cancels itself if the button is not pressed for 1 minute.
CAUTION
Be sure to follow the instructions.
If molded case circuit breakers or earth leakage circuit breakers have tripped, do not reset the breaker immediately without first checking for any problems with insulation of equipment. Resetting breakers without a check of insulation may cause damage to equipment.
