But what exactly is R32?
R32 is the next generation refrigerant that efficiently carries heat and has a lower environmental impact. The good news is that now you can use R32 in residential air conditioners, thanks to Daikin.
Daikin is the only manufacturer that develops and manufactures both air conditioners and refrigerants and it launched the world’s first residential use air conditioner using R32.
The best thing about Daikin air conditioner models using refrigerant R32 is that it can reduce electricity consumption to approximately 10% compared to others using R22. Plus the potential refrigerating effect of R32 is 1.5 times higher than R22 or R410A.

R32 refrigerant is not only cheaper gas but also will last far longer. This means that systems that run on R32 require a quarter less charge compared to other air conditioning systems.
4. Manufacturer Investment
Daikin is heavily investing into new R32 technology this means that these air conditioning systems will become more state of the art, with a greater choice of style, efficiency and size.
Daikin was the first to introduce air-conditioning and heat pump technology that utilised the refrigerant R32, beginning from Japan in November 2012. As of march 2017, we have sold more than 10 million units over more than 50 countries including Malaysia.
