Daikin Wins Energy Saving Award

Daikin is proud to once again cement their position as the World’s No.1 air conditioning company by winning its latest accolade of “IEM Award for Contribution to Engineering Industry in Malaysia 2018” under the category of Energy (Power).

Daikin Malaysia Sales & Service Sdn Bhd (DMSS) General Manager, Lawrence Song was delighted with the achievement as it proved Daikin’s persistent determination in developing energy saving technologies and practices have been recognized and integrated into the advancement of engineering in Malaysia.

Lawrence mentioned: “The advancement of technology waits for no one. We are proud to have been recognized as a company that values the significance of energy saving in the air conditioning industry. With our latest technological development in using the next generation refrigerant (R32) for our air conditioners, we believe that a more efficient use of energy can be achieved in the future. We will continue to further improve our efforts towards innovating on products and services that not only satisfy our customers, but most importantly help save our environment. “
Majority of Daikin air conditioners have also recently been certified under the green products initiative of MyHIJAU, the official green recognition scheme endorsed by the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KETTHA), as Daikin aspires to promote the adoption of environmentally friendly products in Malaysia while at the same time providing high quality products with first class after sales services to customers.

The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) aims to promote the advancement and technological aspects of the engineering industry while facilitating the exchange of engineering information and ideas to achieve practices that is capable of supporting the socio-economic development objectives of Malaysia.
